Street2School Project 2025 (PHASE 1)
INTRODUCTION
Today 23rd September 2025. The Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation successfully carried out its annual Street2School Project 2025 in Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh communities. The outreach was aimed at supporting and motivating Students and Pupils with essential educational materials as they resume the new academic session, while also encouraging learning and reducing barriers to education.
SCHOOLS VISITED
The team visited and distributed school materials to pupils and students in the following institutions:
1. Ewvirhe Primary School, Aladja
2. Model Primary School, Aladja
3. Epame Primary School, Aladja
4. Ayama Primary School, Aladja
5. Ogbe-Ijoh Grammar School, Ogbe-Ijoh
6. Evein Nursery and Primary School, Ogbe-Ijoh
ITEMS DISTRIBUTED
A total of about 3000 students benefitted from the distribution of branded and essential educational items:
500 Branded School Bags
15,000 Branded Notebooks
500 Branded Mathematical Sets
Writing Materials (pencils, biros, erasers, sharpeners)
These provisions were made to ensure that over 3000 pupils are equipped with the necessary tools for effective learning.
OBSERVATIONS
During the outreach, the Foundation identified peculiar cases of students who lacked school uniforms and school shoes. The Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation has committed to providing these essential needs to further support such students and enhance their sense of belonging in the school environment.
ROYAL COURTESY VISIT
As part of the program, the team paid a brief stopover at the palace of the King of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, who is celebrating his 10th Year Coronation Anniversary. The courtesy visit strengthened community relations and underscored the Foundation’s respect for traditional institutions and materials given to the students and pupils of the kingdom.
IMPACT
The outreach was met with overwhelming joy and appreciation from pupils, teachers, community leaders, Traditional councils and Royal Father. Beyond the materials provided, the gesture reinforced hope and encouraged students to embrace education as a pathway to a brighter future.
CONCLUSION
The Street2School Project 2025 was a success, marking another milestone in Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation’s mission to bridge educational gaps and empower children in underserved communities. The Foundation remains committed to sustaining these efforts and expanding its reach in future projects.
